The Day Has Come.....

So probably no one will ever read this anyway, since it's been almost 3 years since we moved to the country and lost touch with civilization, but I just thought I'd let the world know......that WE HAVE HIGH SPEED AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right, I'm sitting in my bedroom typing, rather than tethered to the computer downstairs in the kitchen. We've been trying for months to get some sort of high speed internet out here but have hit dead ends everywhere. Until today, I have been dialing up at the lighting fast speed of 9.8 sometimes and 28.8 at the very fastest. I kid you not. It was enough to make me give up internet, all except checking emails and CNN which occupied an hour of my time just to do that. But not anymore, since my wonderful husband just got us Sprint highspeed. I can now actually see your email pictures, open your blogs and (gasp) watch things online!!

Anyway, we'll see if this makes me a better blogger or if my excuses just change. Hopefully, you'll hear more from me!

  1. wow! I can't believe you have high speed now-- I've only been hearing you complain about it for years now! I gave up on your blog.. then checked randomly to see if by chance you had maybe posted something...? CONGRATS! Yes please start posting again. And I expect to see more pictures on our family website as well!

  2. Lynnie Donovan. I mean Genho. I found pictures of you last weekend, whilst packing (prompting my google search, discovering you here). Photos: You, in a bathing suit with a towel over your face. You, line-dancing. You, chasing after me after realizing I had taken a picture of you line-dancing. I hear there are people who would pay big money to see such photos! Heehee. Hope you are doing well... your little family is so cute! I'll be posting your pictures on my blog soon! Just kidding. Or not...

  3. Lynnie, welcome to the 21st century! I know how frustrating dial-up is. Fun catching up with you today and getting to see some cute pictures on your blog. Good luck with #3...we'll have to compare notes. My friend Laura, (Cliff Miller's daughter) is due this summer, too, so she'll have a little one about your son's age. I really want to introduce you two. Maybe we should come visit you (hint, hint) :) Anna
